Antique - Wood Brass Encrusted Leaf Design Plate from Poland - $50*** ONE-OF-A-KIND***
This is a one of a kind wooded plate hand carved in 1975 around the Morskie Oko Lake in Poland. The artist used brass inlays and thousands of red hot burn marks to create this master piece. Each plate is made of seasoned wood that takes 3-4 years to dry for better results. The process of creation and painting of this unique workmanship takes four days per plate. This is a gorgeous piece that can be used for wall or stand display.
Note the brass inlays around the leaves and outer edge of the plate.
On Back:
* Morskie Oko: Which means "Eye of the Sea", is the largest and fourth deepest lake in the Tatra Mountains which is located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
* 25, vi, 76: Made June 25, 1976
* Zakopane: City which lies in a big valley between the Tatra Mountains and Gubałówka Hills.
Size: The diameter is approximately 15”.
