Features & Description
I have 5 puppies left. 3 girls and 2 boys. The parents are both registered pure breed chihuahuas. The mother is 7lbs and the father is 4lbs. The mother had 7 babies, so they were all pretty small and she had to have them by emergency C-section. She is doing great! The puppies are weight charting to be in the 3-3.5 lb range for the smaller females to 5-5.5 lb range for the larger males.
I have a larger female that should be 4.5-5lbs that is super sweet, gentle and in the middle of the pecking order.
I have a medium small female with gorgeous markings and longer full fluffy hair with a boisterous personality, she is bossy! (but so super cute!)
I have a super small white with rust and dark rust colored spots. She should be 3-3.5lbs She prances and acts like a princess
I have one boy with white and a blue(grey) spot around his right eye so he looks like 'Petey' from the Little Rascals. He should be around 5lbs.
I have one boy that is tuxedoed blue with a white belly and paws. He is lovey and snugly. Also, should be around 5lbs.
The Chihuahuas have been socialized with my 2 y/o son, my 5y/o neutered male chihuahua, our cat, my husband, and all of the neighborhood children for the last 8 weeks. So, they should be great with everyone and other animals because they are used to being handled. They are paper trained here, but puppies are notorious for piddling where they please in new surroundings. The ground work has been laid for housebreaking, so it should be pretty easy. They need sweaters in winter because they get cold and shiver. That is the only time these little puppies have shivered. They are not nervous and haven't developed any bad barking habits so far. They have had their first round of shots and should have boosters every 3 weeks or as directed by your veterinarian. They have been very healthy and have not had any hypoglycemic episodes. The mother and father have not ever had an episode, but it could happen if they play too much, shiver for a long time, or don't eat. The parents have not ever been diagnosed with any physical problems that could be passed down. And the babies were all checked out by a veterinarian after they were born, and they all look fabulous. I have trimmed all of their nails, so they are used to that too .
If you have any other questions I would be super happy to answer them. I work part time, and should be home and near my computer for the next week.
