Position DescriptionThe Corporate Account Executive II (CAE II) is responsible for utilizing advanced business selling techniques to obtain desired results in subscriber growth, data penetration and revenue targets as well as ensuring high quality customer relations and retention. The CAE II responsibilities include consistently meeting/exceeding voice/data revenue and quota targets and goals, and utilizing solution selling techniques to maximize the business relationship and opportunity with prospects and customers within a defined geographic territory and account list. The activity split is approximately 60% geographic and 40% account based. The CAE II is responsible for new business, account penetration, and retention within a geographic territory and account list defined as those companies with greater than 50 employees up to approximately $99 M in domestic annual revenue. The CAE II proactively seeks opportunities to sell complex data solutions to existing customers and prospects across multiple locations. The CAE II is expected to effectively plan and manage assigned accounts to maximize potential and to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and identify data needs through thorough understanding of customer business operations and effectively develop comprehensive data/voice solutions to meet customer needs. The CAE II is responsible for gaining new customers through incorporating all applicable sales stimulation strategies, programs, and other targeting contacts, e.g. cold calling and prospecting, as well as submitting daily/weekly call reports for prospects and existing account coverage including sales forecast to CMG Sales Manager. The CAE II will proactively drive business to most cost effective fulfillment channel and maximize most cost-effective channel options for sales fulfillment, prepare and present professional corporate business proposals and presentations to corporate business executives, and maintain frequent and personal contact with existing corporate business customers to build strong relationships. Additional responsibilities are to set/develop customer expectations that aligns with the Cingular Customer Service Experience and methodology, and to continue self education in order to maintain a broad knowledge of wireless solutions, rate plans, complex products and services, and selling skills. The CAE II is expected to maintain a professional image and work environment and ensure positive and professional interaction with internal and external customers on issues, handle and resolve escalated customer issues, and attend all required sales meetings and training sessions; as well as perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Business Degree (Marketing major preferred) and/or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years successful sales experience preferably in the wireless, data and/or telecommunications industry with a proven record of accomplishment in meeting quota and solution selling/account management. Proven ability to sell complex solutions, preferably wireless data. Experience selling in a cold calling environment. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong negotiation skills, confident and aggressively seeks new business. Flexible team-oriented individual. Ability to work successfully in a virtual environment. Decision making and problem solving capabilities. Ability to present professional image of self and company. Experience in handling customer inquiries and ability to handle difficult customers professionally. Personal commitment to provide quality products and service. Ability to use Microsoft suite as well as other computer software packages as required. Ability to travel. Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle per transportation needs of market.
