Responsibilities:- Responsible for preparing SEC forms 10K/Q
- Manage quarterly review by external audit firm
- Oversee general ledger and manage a conversion process to a new software product
- Manage accounts payable department, including cash management and monitoring
- Technical accounting and analysis of new accounting pronouncements
Requirements:
- Technical accounting background
- Capable of managing and leading staff
- Ability to utilize IT to enhance controls and efficiency
- Work ethic and understanding of financial reporting cycles
- Oral and written communication skills
- Insurance industry knowledge
