Main Responsibilities:
Develops, maintains, and enhances scorecards to support internal clients such as Membership, Automotive and Travel.
. Looks for ways to develop new performance indicators to better evaluate results. Gathers input from key stakeholders on a regular basis. Provides associated variance assessments, as well as summaries of results and trends for management and senior leadership on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Develops, maintains, and enhances existing financial reports to evaluate and drive product profitability, as well as ensure a realistic and actionable view of financial results. Socializes results with key internal clients. Looks for ways to better measure results across multiple products and services.
Leads the financial evaluation of proposed divisional projects and initiatives through the use of cost-benefit analysis. Reviews and contributes to associated business cases. Partners with other resources in Finance and the business to develop and refine key assumptions.
Works as part of a larger team in support of divisional clients. Looks for opportunities to improve planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- 8-9 years of relevant finance experience required
- BS in Finance, Accounting or equivalent education required, MBA preferred
- Experience in enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes required
- Proficient in the use and development of scorecards, product P&L's, and financial models required
-Experience with using PeopleSoft Financials and/or other planning and budgeting tools like PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, and Cognos
-Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required, database skills preferred, strong written, oral communication, and analytical skills required
- Must be comfortable interacting and challenging senior leaders
- Should be a strategic thinker, with experience in driving work through complex organizations
- Strong inter-personal and analytical skills required
- Should be proficient at facilitation and presentation, ability to work with minimal supervision and under demanding timelines
