Jr/Mid Level Java Web Developer:Fast-paced and rapidly growing leader in web-based behavioral assessments based in Dallas, TX has an immediate full-time position available for a Mid Level Java Web Developer. This company is seeking a competent Web developer to design and code new product features while supporting the internal development needs of the company. The right candidate will have proven success producing quality code in a timely manner and will thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
„« Design and develop components of multi-tier web application using Java, JSP, Struts and Microsoft SQL Server
„« Interact regularly with Client Relations team to address technical issues and provide information upon request
„« Create software solutions for operational issues as they arise
„« Perform production system monitoring and devise ways to automate manual monitoring tasks.
„« Create database queries to mine for information and perform data updates
„« Regularly handle smaller programming tasks to improve existing system while making progress on larger software projects
„« Troubleshoot problems and involve other team members to help resolve issue
„« Produce well-planned, well-structured, high-quality code
Requirements:
„« BS Computer Science Degree required
„« Minimum of 2-3+ years of Web/Java programming experience; looking for a strong programmer who has an "eye for design"
„« Experience with JSP, HTML, Struts, and Unix/Linux
„« Ability to understand and write complex SQL queries
„« Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
„« Detail orientation, organizational skills, and excellent verbal communication skills
„« Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
„« "Can Do" attitude with entrepreneurial spirit, high energy & enthusiasm, highly motivated
„« Must be a "True" team player, someone who thrives working in a team & enjoys collaboration with fellow team members, upper management and other staff
„« Experience with Eclipse or Tomcat is a plus however not required
„« Local candidates preferred, no relocation offered
„« Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder, no Visa or EAD candidates
