JOB DESCRIPTIONRobert Half has teamed up with an Industry leader in the Indianapolis market to locate a top notch Plant Controller. The right candidate will not only have to meet the required skill sets outlined in the job description but will need to have the following personality and leadership traits to be successful. The role will require a strong outgoing personality with the ability to push back when required, handle pressure with sometimes demanding deadlines, and be able to build and work internal relationships to get through the red tape associated with big business. Duties include: • To provide the direction, administration and management of the plant's financial and business operations. • Insure accurate, timely, pertinent and consistent financial reporting that are in compliance with company policies, accounting principles and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cost Accounting and Close process for Plant. • Month end close for Plant. • Partner with cost accounting on timely and accurate completion of related activities including physical Inventory, standards, and valuation. • Forecasting/Analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. • Analysis for improvement. • Prepare ROI's, Ad-hoc, and investment analysis. • Work on Sox and internal Audit process For more information please submit a resume to Rick Cote' at rick.cote@roberthalf.com
Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting • Five or more years relevant business experience • Masters in Business Finance preferred
