We are seeking a dedicated Repair Technician who wants to be part of a company that makes a difference in patients' lives. This position will be responsible for filling high-pressure oxygen tanks and operating relevant equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and repairs to specified healthcare equipment
Trouble-shoots and repairs equipment to meet manufacturing guideline specifications
Orders repair parts
Physical and electronic receiving of equipment to be repaired
Schedules delivery of equipment to other locations
Fills high-pressure oxygen tanks
Determines repair priorities
Maintains working relationship with vendors
Receives incoming parts and supplies
Maintains inventory on all repair parts
Provides technical support to locations for equipment repair
Job Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years experience in repair of HME/Respiratory Therapy products or equivalent experience
Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn
Ability to maintain certification necessary to repair specific equipment
Ability to pass and maintain vendor training classes and become certified per manufacturer’s training
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to lift and load equipment up to 60 lbs as necessary
Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigation
